If you only plan for 3-4 people a 4gb modded server us perfectly fine. A server running any kitchen sink pack needs a MINIMUM 4gb on the Ram department to keep a decent TPS. Vanilla/modded, public/private, friends/randoms and then how big the server will be.Ī vanilla server needs far less power than a modded server.
